I woke up to more rain today. I was kind of hoping that it would be nice out but its not. The traffic getting to school was horrendous. I have no idea how I got to school on time. So once we pulled into the school, the line for car pool was backed up down the hill. I only had 5 minutes left to get to class so I had to get out and run to the school. I got pretty drenched. It’s always nice going into a cold school while soaking wet. So now I’m sitting in Web Design “learning” more about FrontPage. I’m pretty much bored. Blogging occupies my time I guess.

Still Raining…
Friday, August 28th, 2009It’s Raining
Thursday, August 27th, 2009So today hasn’t been very interesting. In Web Design we learned how to use FrontPage to create webpages with colored text. Seemed a bit wrong to me considering that FrontPage isn’t even being produced anymore. I could have done all that and more by just typing the code. Then in US History I got to write an essay on how religious toleration increased in the 17th and 18th centuries in the American colonies. That was really fun. Lit was boring. I cleaned gum off of a chair. Lunch was funny. Philip was wearing a shirt with a guy holding a pipe. The pipe was barely visible and not the point of the shirt but it seemed to bother Ms. Charron enough to make her tell a gym teacher to tell him to never wear it again. The gym teacher came over and asked if it was a pipe on his shirt. Philip was like ??? I never noticed that. The teacher said he would never have noticed it either and he didn’t think it was a big deal. He said that he didn’t want to make him not wear it but he was just the messenger. I found it kind of funny that even the teachers think that Ms. Charron is ridiculous. Then came math. Ms. McDonald wasn’t there today so the class was almost under control with Mr. Oguz. Mr. Sloan subbed and yelled at everyone to shut up. No one was used to that so it didn’t last long. Engineering was just engineering. I’m about to finish my project 2 weeks ahead of time. I’m not sure what I’m going to do for the rest of the time that the other people are working but oh well. After school Stephan and I went to QuikTrip. I got a D-Pep, corn nuts, and this new bacon egg and cheese sandwich thing. The sandwich turned out to be pretty good. I would get it again. When I got home I decided to make my website have valid XHTML. I opened up Coda and got slapped in the face with a message saying my trial was up. I figured that I kinda need Coda so I spent the ridiculous $100 to get my own license. Then I spent an hour making my site 100% valid XHTML. Yay. I feel so accomplished.

Let it Snow
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009So for some reason I really wanted it to be Christmas just now. Something about the cold air and the warm fire seems really appealing. Just writing about it makes me want it even more. The massive plate of sugar cookies. The christmas tree with all the presents under it and the ornaments reflecting the fire from the fireplace. The Christmas music playing from the DirecTV Christmas music channel. Agh. I can’t wait 4 more months for this!!
So Much to Say
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009Well maybe not so much. Apparently I have bloggers-block because I haven’t been able to think of anything to write about lately. So the week went by really slow. Mixed emotions about how it went though. But the weekend came to rescue me yesterday and I got to leave the week behind me. So last night my family and I went to Rays Pizza for dinner. The service was probably the worst I have ever experienced. They must have been understaffed or something because this one guy was waiting on like 15 tables at once and couldn’t manage it all. We finally got our food and that wasn’t too bad. After dinner, Stephan and I got some NBA game demos on the 360 and played that for a while. Then it started storming really bad and apparently that inspired me to write a pretty awesome song. I’ll have to record it and put it on here one of these days.
Today I woke up and got some Honey Bunches of Oats. The Cap’n Crunch was stale
. My dad left for London after that and Stephan and I went to Play N Trade to get NBA Live 09 but we ended up settling for NBA 2K8. I’ve gotta say… The game is pretty awesome. I love the realism of the gameplay. I just can’t figure out the defense which is causing me to lose every game. Not happy about that. But yeah, that’s all I’ve done lately.

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009Crystal Springs Water Caps
Tuesday, August 18th, 2009So Crystal Springs once again changed the design of their bottles and caps but this time it sucks. The caps are the worst part. The edges are like razor blades. I just went to my fridge and tried to open up a bottle of their water. After a good 3 twist attempts, I looked at my hand to find a line of cuts and one was bleeding. What kind of water bottle makes you bleed to open it?? I’m going back to Deer Park.
